The Covenant have some playable vehicles. Hunters are also hard to kill and it can require 40% of a plasma guns ammo to kill a single one on normal difficulty. There are also Covenant Hunters that use a powerful plasma weapon that can easily drain the shield or kill the player. Most Elites use plasma rifles, however some are equipped with a plasma sword.
